We tried to catch up and told him that I am moving to a new ministry. I still hope that I would only stay for five years in this new ministry and go back to pastoral ministry. I am still praying if I would want to start a new generation Filipino-Chinese church which has been my burden for the last five years. It seems I need another five years to really prepare myself.
So, he asked me, why not now. Why wait for five years? So, I answered, "I am giving you five years to enter and finish your seminary studies and come back here to the Philippines to help me out." He was laughing, and confessed that he is going for part-time studies this year and will go fulltime next year.
After the conversation, I really felt blessed. I was filled with joy and praising God. It made up my day. It even helped my preaching that morning. I was so energized because of the wonderful blessings from God.
I praise God... allowing me to continually see what God has said to be last January: The fruits of your labor is not in vain. Praise the Lord!
