Sometimes life does not really go the way you planned it. Like Jayson, who is a nursing graduate is now a businessman. He is helping his boss manage three stores in Boracay. His boss, by the way, can also be said my mentee during his Boy Scout years hehehe.
I am always proud with my mentees who have sore high in the challenges of life. I felt God has used me to bring out the best in people. And this is my purpose in life, "Equipping God's People for Every Good Work." Though, I cannot take all credit, because it was all God's work, timing and guidance. But I am sure happy and proud to be part of Jayson's journey.
He is now learning more on sales and marketing, and of course, personnel management. Super layo sa nursing talaga... grabe!!! hahaha... Through his leadership, I heard that the stores are more organized and now earning more than ever. He also got his experience in firing people - astig di ba! Well, I miss doing that one in the corporate, shouting at people, "You're FIRED!" hehehe
I just heard, he is also trying to organize a fellowship in a church in Boracay. Wow! Isn't that great! I hope after this leg of journey, he will join me in serving God, fulltime... hehehe - in my dreams!!!
I pray that he will continue to humble himself before God, and seek God wholeheartedly all the days of his life. To have the wisdom of Solomon in making good decisions in all his dealings. And to always be a blessing to others by doing the same in bringing out the best in people.
Keep it up, Jayson!!!
